I joined Partech more than 10 years ago when we were still a small transatlantic boutique, after having Partech as an investor on my Board for almost a decade. I was notably in the Machine Learning space before LLM were even a thing so was obviously fascinated at the recent inflexion point in this space!
At Partech, I launched all of the Seed Investments activities, which have now become one of the largest in Europe with 400M€ under management, 150 portfolio companies spanning 4 continents and 28 countries, with a team of 10 investors.
My experience as a Rocket Scientist and a tech entrepreneur myself has inspired my passion to invest in innovating frontier technology from artificial intelligence, chips, to autonomous vehicles and virtual reality, as well as numerous investments in enterprise software, fintech, insurtech, healthtech, B2B marketplaces and social networks. Some examples of my successful investments are AlephD (acquired by AOL), Alkemics (acquired by Salsify Inc.), Foxintelligence (acquired by Nielsen), PriceMatch (acquired by Booking.com), Streamroot (acquired by CenturyLink), Sketchfab (acquired by EPIC Games), etc.
My current portfolio includes companies I’m humbled to work with such as Alan, Commsignia, Collectivfood, Digitail, Enter, E-Peas, Lun, Material Exchange, Novicap, Ornikar, Peanut, Pennylane, Pydantic, Quibim, Resolution Games, Seatti, The Exploration Space Company, The Guarantors, V7 Labs, Vyne and many others...
I most recently served as Vice President, Strategy and M&A at Dassault Systèmes, the 2nd largest software company in Europe, which acquired my startup in 2011.
On the more personal side, I’m a happy husband and father of 3, an avid listener and curator of Electro Music. I love spending time on the Ocean and train every Saturday with a professional Boxing coach.
Fun Fact: I have competed in the National Downhill Skiing selections in France and am still an active skier on and off piste. Best chance to catch me outside of Paris is in the Northern Alps during the winter season!
