/Partech promotes Andrew Whiting to Partner and promotes 3 key members of its Growth team

Paris, France – July 12, 2022 – Partech is delighted to announce the promotion of Andrew Whiting to Partner, of Laetitia Marcadé and Luis Zarate to Senior Associate, and of Alexis Lancien to Associate.
The development of the team comes on the back of the closing of Partech Growth II, its second Growth fund, closed in November 2021, which reached €650M in commitments, and of a number of positive developments in the portfolio including the recent $500M funding round of Ecovadis, the largest equity fundraising for a sustainability data SaaS company to date and the $230M funding round of online grocery Rohlik. Partech Growth II has a robust and highly capital-efficient portfolio, which includes 7 companies: Billogram, Channable, Rohlik, Rouje, Skello, Studocu, and Weglot. The fund will invest in a further 5 to 6 emerging European category leaders over the next 2 years.
Andrew Whiting promoted to Partner

Andrew joined Partech in 2020 bringing with him years of experience investing and advising high-growth companies. At Partech, he has been impactful from day one, leading the teamwork on now unicorn e-grocer Rohlik, as well as Channable, a leading B2B SaaS ecommerce enablement platform.
Partech welcomes Andrew to the partnership. He is passionate in supporting our entrepreneur partners and brings a depth of investment experience across Europe and North America. He takes an active, keen interest in developing the teams he is part of, both within Partech and our investees.

Andrew’s career began at Rothschild & Co in London, advising on over $50bn of M&A and restructuring. In 2012, he moved to growth equity where he has invested across software, communications, media, financial services and healthcare for Zouk Capital in London and later Clairvest Group in Toronto.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University, Canada and a Master’s in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Laetitia Marcadé and Luis Zarate promoted to Senior Associate, Alexis Lancien promoted to Associate

Laetitia Marcadé, who joined Partech in 2020, is promoted to Senior Associate.
She supported Partech’s investments in Studocu, Channable and Weglot. Before joining Partech, Laetitia worked in M&A at Natixis Partners; and as a Business Developer at Neuroprofiler, a fintech startup selling smart risk-assessment questionnaires for the clients of private banks.
She earned a Master’s degree in Management from ESCP Business School majoring in Corporate Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences from La Sorbonne. She is most excited about cybersecurity, data-infrastructure and internet companies.
Luis Zarate, who joined Partech in 2021, is promoted to Senior Associate.
Prior to joining the Growth team, Luis was an analyst in the Technology group at J.P. Morgan in London. He also worked in Mexico as a consultant at PwC and as an analyst at Endeavor, an NGO working with high-impact entrepreneurs all over the world.
Luis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Toulouse School of Economics and a double Master’s in Finance and International Management (CEMS) from NOVA SBE and Copenhagen Business School. He is most excited about e-commerce enablers, marketplaces and B2B software whether SMB or vertical.
Alexis Lancien, who also joined Partech in 2021, is promoted to Associate.
Before this, he completed a double degree between Ecole Polytechnique and HEC Paris, earning a Master’s degree in Data Science.
Alexis has experience in the Healthcare industry, as former Data Scientist at IQVIA's Analytics department and co-founder at Kera Medical. He is most excited about B2B Enterprise plays, especially companies in data infrastructure or leveraging data and/or machine learning as a differentiator.
