/HYGROUND RAISES €3M PRE-SEED ROUND TO BUILD THE SOVEREIGN SRE AGENT FOR ENTERPRISE IT OPERATONS
March 23rd, 2026
Backed by Partech, Adesso Ventures, AngelInvest, and Plug and Play, the Hamburg-based startup introduces an AI-powered platform that unifies observability, infrastructure, and documentation into a single actionable system for DevOps and SRE teams.
Hamburg, Germany, March 23, 2026 – Hyground announces the successful close of a €3 million pre-seed funding round. The round brings together a strong investor consortium: Partech, Adesso Ventures, Angel Invest, and Plug and Play, signaling broad confidence in Hyground’s mission to automate software operations at enterprise scale. At Kubecon Amsterdam, the company demonstrates its Sovereign SRE Agent, which is in production for faster incident resolution and more consistent operational responses at enterprises like Deutsche Bahn (RIS) or ifm, a German hidden champion.
Modern production systems generate massive volumes of logs, metrics, traces, and events across fragmented tools. While traditional observability platforms expose this data, they leave engineers to manually correlate signals and diagnose incidents under time pressure.
Hyground addresses this gap by providing a unified, queryable view of the entire production environment. The platform correlates signals across Kubernetes clusters, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, application telemetry, and internal documentation. Instead of navigating dashboards and alert streams, engineers can interrogate their systems in natural language and receive contextualized analysis with clear, actionable insights.
Running in customer trusted environments, Hyground operates with full data sovereignty. It leverages the client's observability stack and integrates itself natively with all relevant data sources without requiring system adaptations and operates independently of any particular stack or vendor.
It captures operational patterns and institutional knowledge that typically reside with senior engineers and makes them accessible across the organization. During incidents, the agent provides structured root cause analysis and recommended remediation steps.
The platform is designed for enterprise IT operations teams managing distributed, high-availability systems where downtime carries significant operational and financial risk.
"The AI opportunity in DevOps and IT operations is enormous”, comments Moritz Steinbrecher, Principal at Partech, “but one that requires more scaffolding than AI software engineering. It’s a space we’ve been following closely for some time and in Hyground we found the team and approach uniquely positioned to address the needs of European enterprises, MSPs and cloud providers.”
About Hyground
Hyground is the AI SRE Agent, which goes beyond on-call incident resolution. It is designed specifically for teams operating complex software systems such as DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering teams.
Our mission is to assemble a virtual software operations team, so that companies can focus on their core business. Today we automate time-consuming processes of incident resolution, enabling engineers to focus immediately on solutions and reducing downtime by up to 80%. Hyground continues to expand in the remaining work beyond incident resolution including FinOps and SecOps. Hyground is a data-sovereign solution, self-hosted by default and suited for highly regulated industries, including fully air-gapped environments.
Hyground has a strong partnership with MaibornWolff and Adesso, combining years of expertise in IT consultancy with innovation in AI.
